Acne usually do not occur on upper lip. You may be having folliculitis. If antibiotics like clindamycin are used for a long time resistant bacteria develop which infect hair roots (called as folliculitis). Please visit a dermatologist and get an opinion before continuing the medicines. Folliculitis will need a course of antibiotics which will clear it up. Also washing your face with soap or a face wash 2 to 3 times a day can help in prevention. Warm regards. Dr. Rajdeep Mysore. Chirag Hospital Bangalore
