Pimples and scars
I've recently started getting some pimples on my face. It's not hereditary cause none of my close family have pimples. I have very very small pimples which are around 20-25 which are hardly visible and 1-2 big ones which kind of swell up or turn red at times. Also, please suggest on removing some scratch and burn marks

Hi. Greetings. Please note : Acne is a common problem at your age. Reduce intake of chocolates, milk and junk food too. Use a topical retinoid cream daily night. You may need a short course of antibiotics. Discuss other suitable forms of treatment with your dermatologist. Pimples may often leave spots especially of not treated or if we burst pimples or pick them. You'll need skin lightening creams for a specified duration to reduce the marks , and this could also be dealt with chemical peeling. Also you must use a sunscreen to prevent darkening of the spots. If u have scars, creams may not work n you may need procedures like microneedling, microneedling rf, fractional lasers, prp or subscision or a combination of these. Send in your pictures if you need further assistance. Or see a dermatologist near you and discuss the same with him. Hope this helps. Warm regards.

If you take care of pimples properly in early stages, then your face will stay good later without any scars or pots. The rule of thumb is to avoid picking or breaking or fiddling with them, however tempting it may be. Splash face cold water and pat dry gently. Show a dermatologist and take proper adequate treatment. properly. Dr. Jolly Shah Kapadia DNB Skin Nurture Clinic Mumbai
