Pimples and dry lips
Hello 1.) I am 28 years old and I am having the problem of pimples. Sometimes the skin on my cheek, upto half an inch, gets hardened, though pain free, and bleeds a few days later. And there are pimple kind of things at the edge of my lip and sometimes on the upper cheek. These things bleed and when they do, I squeeze out the remaining blood using a cotton. That is leaving a very small pit and spots on my face. I feel like I am not keeping my body cool at times. What do you suggest? Thank you. 2.) My lips are drying out and the skin in turning rough. Especially the bottom one. There is a clear difference in pigmentation of the outer part and the inner part. I dont smoke. I have seen people who have the same pigmentation all over their lip. Even if there is a difference, it is not outwardly visible like mine. My lips, at times become hard and crispy in texture. I have to again wet them with my tongue for a few seconds before they become normal. What do you suggest? Thank you.

Acne or  pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. Treatment depends on the grade of pimples or acne..So, please  send photos by direct online consultation as it's a must to see which grade of pimples or acne for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Hi, while you have described your symptoms in detail,  need to understand your problem better by looking at pictures of the affected areas - u could send them via online chat / or see a qualified dermatologist near you. For your lips you must - not use your tongue to wet them,  it will cause more peeling and dryness,  instead keep applying plain petroleum jelly from time to time.  Warm regards,  Dr Govind Suresh Mittal,  Therapeia Skin Hair and ENT centre,  Bengaluru.
