Pimples & scars on Face.
Myself ViJay of age 21. My face is full of pimples, black marks and scars from past 5 years. I'm consulting dermatologist frequently from 2 years he recommend medicines. Using those medicines, but there will be no use. I'm having dandruff. Also having small pimples and black marks on neck, back of shoulders and chest. After face washing my face becomes dry unless applying any lotion. If the lotion lasts long then face becomes oily. My face seems ugly and dull. I'm thinking to go for a plastic surgery for face to cover pimples and scars. Is my decision good ?? Or give me an advice is there any better treatment to get healthy, glowing and soft skin for face. I don't have confidence to talk with group of people by showing my ugly face. Please suggest me better treatment or about plastic surgery. Please make me confident.

Thanks for the query. Your condition can respond to medications and you wont need a plastic surgery when a simple option exist. There are different ways to achieve a flawless skin after acne and it needs medical interventions. Acne treatment has multiple stages - to control new breakouts, to clear the sequalae (pigmentation and scars) and to prevent a relapse. If you have active acne lesions, it should be controlled on priority basis. Acne scar and pores can be treated with subcision, dermaroller, fractional CO2 lasers, chemical peels and likewise. Remember combining treatment modalities help to achieve desired results earlier. Have hopes- treatment takes time but will help you for sure.
