Pimple and swelling in left ear
Hi doctor
I m asking query for my 8 month old son.
In his left ear I could see some redness in mid ear and pimple in the mid ear. Till yesterday evening he was fine but since night he has been crying in every 5-10 minutes. I have given paracetamol drops 1 ml in night and in morning.
His weight is 9 kg.
But today morning I saw redness in outer part and little pimple type swelling in mid ear.and also he has mild fever 98.7-99 since last night
Today is Sunday .
Hospital and doctors are unavailable today.
So pls suggest medicine for reduce swelling and for pain.
I will be highly thankful to you...

Hello. If there is any cold associated, please use nasivion baby nasal drops (one drop in each nostril) and maxtra oral drops and paracetamol syrup for the fever. Ear pain generally in this age could be due to the cold. But better to take him to nearby ent specialist for examination. Try this meds. If it doesn’t subside, please take him to nearby ent doctor for examination. If you have any queries please let me know. Thank you.
