PIH after q switch nd yag laser 1064-532
Hi, I went through a q switch nd yag laser for speckled nevus on my face by a renowned laser surgeon but without understanding my skin and situation he gave me 1064 and 532. As an adverse effect it caused burn on my face and skin peeled off and lead to dark laser spots which doctor refered as PIH. He gave me 3 salicylic peels in a gap of 15 days but Instead of improving my situation it further lightened my rest of the skin and made the spots more visible and color discoloration. Along with this I had been applying Hydroquinone cream but after 4 months condition has not improved much and seems to have stopped improving further. Doctor is saying that I need to go for another laser with mild settings which will improve the situation but I am literally worried if it could worse my situation as his casual attitude towards my problem has already made my face worst. Can anyone please help me with my situation and advise me what should I do in this situation. Please help.
