I wished to know if this pigmentation is of any recent onset and if it started gradually and has been there. Do you use lot of lip cosmetics? Have you had any injuries or infection involving your upper lip? Accordingly the pigmentation can be evaluated and treated. Can be treated with topical creams or peels and if not responsive , laser can be considered. Hope this helps. Warm regards
