Piercing Pain in upper st
I feel a piercing pain in upper stomach. This pain stays for some days and then goes. It comes back after some days. The pain area is very narrow. Sometimes the pain spreads to lower back as well. I do not drink & smoke. I am vegetarian. Workstyle is sedentary.

Such abdominal pain could be due to many reasons like gastritis, pancreatitis, kidney stones, cholecystitis, gall stones, pelvic inflammatory disease, hepatitis. You will require detailed clinical examination and further investigations including ultrasound abdomen and pelvis. So kindly consult a general surgeon for further evaluation.
