Phaco Cataract surgery options
Hi Docs, could anyone help me to determine which one is good for cataract surgery, hospital provided multiple options in phaco. I am just confused, which one will be benefit for my dad's, he is 62 yrs old.
Suggest me lenses option.

There are options in kind of lenses we can use .
Depending on your requirement and your case ..

Sir the procedure stays the same for all the available packages for phacoemulsification cataract surgery with a minor variation. If he is non Diabetic/non Hypertensive/ No retina pathology then can opt for a Multifocal intra ocular lens where the dependency for glasses is not there for far , intermediate and near works. Or else can go for Monofocal intra ocular lens where the dependency for glasses is not there for far but for near works will have to use reading glasses. Few of good brands are like Alcon, Hoya, Zeiss, AMO etc. Your Ophthalmologist will suggest you the best amongst the options available.
