If your friends dog is completely vaccinated, then nothing to worry about. In that case, vaccination is not a must. But anti rabies vaccinations are like any other vaccination. It will only give immunity to the person, nothing wrong in taking it. Getting vaccination will only make sure extra protective. So if you want, you can go for anti rabies vaccinations with your physician.
If your friends dog's vaccination is not up to date, then vaccinations are a must.
