Persistent vulvovaginal candiasis
20 year old girl. I have vulvovaginal candiasis that does not go away with medications prescribed by the gynaecologist. The symptoms improve but the infection recurs as soon as the medicine course is over even after eating a lot of yogurt and avoiding sugar foods. Suffering since 3 months. Read on internet about boric acid vaginal suppositories. Should I use it ? Is it safe? Is there any other recommended way to get rid of this ?

If u hv Persistent infection u need to change the antifungals u hv taken. Many latest antifungals are available these days. Also the course has to be given for long. U need to get ur blood sugars checked. And if u r sexually active ur partner needs to b treated as well. Initiate a direct consult fir further advise
