My father is a patient of chronic kidney disease, he has type 2 diabetes also.. last 3 days he has persistent hiccups.. I gave him reglan but there is no progress.. please suggest me any medication to stop hiccups and also the reason.for this

Get blood urea levels first. If so high dat cause hiccups, needs to be reduced to control hiccups
