Persistent cough for 2yrs
Hey Guys, I've had this dry, persistent cough for the last two years. I have neglected it, but also whenever I step outside the city, the cough ceases. Recently the cough got a lot so I visited my family doctor, I told him of the same and he gave me antibiotics for the 5 odd days, assuring me that the cough would go. But it's still there. Any takes on how I can get this checked properly or how to proceed from here?

Hi, gone through your history, persistent cough since 2 years needs further evaluation. Kindly get complete hemogram with peripheral smear and chest x ray and upload us the same. U can use syp corex for cough suppression if u don't produce much sputum on coughing.. Take tab.montelukast+ fexofenidine 1-0-0 for 5 days and see for response... Don't use antibiotics...
