Peritonitis and fibrosis
I operated my toung cancer in Dec 2012 an recurring in throat within two month which I operated in Feb 2013 . I completed my chemo and radiation therapy till may 2013. Due to radiation therapy we have some infection in mouth as peritonitis and fibrosis and showing swelling in jaw. My mouth opening is 12 mm and having pain in mouth. Doctor suggested to operate teeth and biopsy. Please suggest what to do.

Radiation therapy and chemotherapy causes a lot of dryness in the mouth hence followed by a lot of problems including decay, sensitivity and fungal infections . U must do as yr therapist suggests and visit a well known dental.surgron close by who can guide u properly .
