Periods not coming after abortion
Hi, my wife aborted a 5 week pregnancy after consulting with a gynecologist. It was a medicinal abortion where she took 2nd set of pills on 12th July 2018. Bleeding started on the same day and continued till 7 days. After that We did 2 pregnancy tests, on 2 August and 15 August and both were negative. But till now even after 40 days her periods have not come.
Normally her periods come every 27-28 days.
Can you please suggest what should be done next? As the 2 pregnancy tests are already coming negative, is there still a possibility that we need to go for surgical abortion? Thanks in advance.
