Periods last more than 8 days. A week?

I already have pcod issue. I got menstrual cycle after 3 months and now my periods has continued for more than 7 days. This is the first time it has last so long. I read somewhere that this can be because of miscarriage as well as I did had physical intimacy with my husband in 3 months before having my periods again. But because of my pcod issue and no symptoms of pregnancy Unable to understand what it was? Was it because of pcod I didn't had periods for 3 months or I was pregnant and now when my periods has started it has last for more than a week. Is this a period because of miscarriage or a normal period and  just because it missed for 3 months it has last for more than a week? I am unable to understand the pregnancy situation because of pcod and no symptoms 😔
