Periods issue
I have been married for a yr nw & my husband visits evry 6mnths.last feb i & my husband had protected sex 4 dys in a row wherein the 1st day i had an ipill,2nd and 3rd dy we used condom apprx 9(4+5) & 4th day ipill Since then i have been getting periods every month aftr 24-28 dys bt lasts nly 2 dys Plz help

Thank you for your question. As long as your period comes between 24-35 days and you bleed for at least a day its not a problem. Rarely periods can change because of internal hormonal changes caused by weight gain or loss and emotional stress, or thyroid problems. Your taking the ipill will not cause your period issues. If you find you are worrying about your periods a lot it is best to get checked out and get your relevant tests done. Your gynaecologist will be the best person to guide you and interpret the tests. When you have the right information it will be easier to decide what you need to do next if at all you need to. If everything is normal you will be reassured. hope this helps
