I have a question that can oral heroes cause Periodontitis and no other symptoms, if I take antibiotics and Periodontitis goes away it means it was bacterial not viral right?

Periodontitis is caused by bacteria so antibiotics can relieve infection, whereas herpes is iviral infection .oral herpes will not cause Periodontitis. Periodontitis is caused by poor oral hygiene, plaque deposits, diabetes,intake of antiepileptic drugs.get your teeth cleaned, maintain good oral hygiene.

Depending on your immunity, it can just present as an ulcer or cause periodontitis. Antibiotics should never be taken as monotherapy and is advised only for co bacterial infection with periodontal bacteria or suspected secondary infection.
