It is normal for boys going through puberty to experience spontaneous erections due to hormonal changes, increased blood flow, and natural development. If the foreskin was previously tight but has now retracted without pain or difficulty, it indicates improvement in flexibility. Maintaining good hygiene by gently cleaning the area with warm water is important to prevent infections or discomfort. If there is persistent pain, swelling, or difficulty in pulling the foreskin back to its normal position, it is advisable to consult a pediatric urologist or doctor for evaluation. Educating your child about normal body changes during puberty can also help him feel comfortable and informed.
