Hello Doctor, my baby girl is one year and 4 months old who has a pda by birth and is still not walking or standing on her own but is barely sitting. I'm terribly broken coz of this and doctors said it won't close and we've to perform a device closure after she turns 2 years old. Please help me what are the possible ways I can do to help close it on its own? By mentally keeping her happy always, giving her healthy sources of food? if so, what are the foods I can give her? Please let me know I'm dying everyday I want her to cure soon.

Please do not waste time in expecting it to close on its own. If it is big. It would not close on its own.
But the good news is that PDA can be very easily closed by a device, without surgery. So please consult a pediatric Cardiologist for device closure.
