Pcr qualititative or quantitative
I had a exposure 8 to 10 years back. I have a negative tridot test and negative western blot test which i took this month. I want to go for pcr now as i still have many symptoms. But i heard that pcr has high rates of false postives. Should i go for quantitative or qualitative pcr? If i take quantitative pcr, will it tell if i have hiv? I read in some journals that in  late stage hiv, the anti bodies wont be picked up by the western blot or tridot.
