First line treatment in pcod is to give medicines for ovulation induction. If you do not respond or if there are severe hormonal disturbance then ovarian drilling may be considered. But drilling as such doesn't guarantee you a regular period or a spontaneous conception. You may still require ovulation induction if you do not conceive in 3-6 months after drilling.
