Pcod medication

Asked for Female, 25 Years

I was diagnosed with pcod and doctor suggested with Yasmin which act as birth control as well. I had taken for 1 yr n stopped b4 6 mnths. Can I start taking taking Yasmin again ? As we don't want kids now and also I have been noticing some problems like hairfall, pimples,weight gain etc(in controwhen under medication)

Hello...all those symptoms of polycystic ovarian syndrome might have recurred...you can take oral contraceptive pills if you don't desire pregnancy ... Before taking have to get your general check up done like CVS examination, bp .. It will take 3-6 months to regain ovulation after stoppage of pills .
