2. What is a STG graft?
3. In how many days does the swelling reduce?
4. How many times in a day should knee exercises such as ankle pumps and knee bending be done?

Hi.
After fixation of PCL avulsion fracture along with Meniscectomy, the knee brace can be used till 3 months for union of fracture.
The movement of knee joint started after one month of surgery.
The STG graft is semitendinosus muscle graft which along with Gracilis tendon is used for ligament reconstruction of either ACL or PCL.
The swelling of knee usually takes couple of days to settle after surgery.
The exercise post surgery like ankle pumps and straight leg raises can be done immediately.
But knee bending takes 5 weeks to start after surgery.
