Patchy beard loss.
Hello, I have this condition for quite some time now. Though its very minute now. It's almost 1.5 years now. I started to have this patchy hair loss from beard when i got shaved from a local barber. I assume i got infected then. But then i consulted a doc and he put me on 1) k2 zole wash. 2) clobestol propionate cream. I noticed arresting of patch and some hair growing back. Though it's still not fully grown. The patch is very minutely visible with very light hair on it. What shall i do? I am worried about relapse and the fact that i don't have full hair on it.

Thanks for the query. This is a common condition, and probably indicates a disturbed immune system. You may be having a condition called alopecia areata, if there are well defined patches of hair loss. Other diagnosis may also be possible and can be ascertained while consulting. Treatment is simple and has different approaches. You need to discuss with a dermatologist to understand it at length. Skin is the mirror of internal health and to get a perfect skin you need to treat both ways - internally and externally. A healthy diet and lifestyle is mandatory to achieve results.
