Pale yellow coloured stool

Asked for Male, 2 Years

Hello, My baby is recovering from croup/covid. He is pale yellow color stools. He is still taking pecef 100 dt tab antibiotic. Is it the side effects of tablet? Kindly suggest

Hi there As croup is a severe form of illness the activity of digestion and liver secretion is reduced. Nothing to worry as long as eyes ate not yellow. Continue medication. Avoid exposure to cold water and air.

Very nice that your baby is recovering. Stool colour may change while baby is on antibiotics. Don't worry, it will resolve. Take medicine as per dose. Why you are concerned with side effects only.
