Painful bumps under skin
I get random bumps under the skin around the upper vaginal area which are painful and hard when touched. A few days later a small amount of blood or puss is released and then the bump heals and a scar remains What is causing this? Is it because of waxing related ingrown hair, too much heat in the body or some infection ? Please advice.

Hello There. I can understandyour concern, it could be due to folliculitis or ingrown hair. you have to stop waxing the area. There are something called "RAZORS" for intimate parts use those for cleaning. waxing and using hair removal creams is not safe for you. Consult a dermatologist in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards, Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
