Pain in the upper portion of spinal cord
For the last few weeks, my mother aged 62 is suffering from a pain in the spinal cord at a particular point in the upper part of the backside i.e behind the chest area.
Pain occurs while sleeping or during day time

First please get a XRay done for thoracic spine and share the report. If there is some pathology in bones then orthopedic will examine else Neurologist or If no pathology the GP should be able to treat. Does she lie in bed for long?
