Pain in Rectum and Penis
I have slight pain on one side of the excretory area constantly. After excretion, the pain reduces, but returns after 10 minutes. There is also very little sensation of pain in penis. I face this problem for 1 week now. I am not sure whether to consult urologist or gastroenterologist. Please help.

Hello there...I can understand your concern. From your complaints it looks like you could be suffering from fissure in ano. Are you noticing any blood while passing stools? Fissures are common during summer when there is excess loss of water or in people whose diet lacks fibre. Kindly consult a general surgeon or gastroenterologist for further evaluation. Meanwhile take plenty of fluids, eat food rich in fibres like green leafy vegetables, raw fruits and vegetables.
