Pain in medial malleolus
History of trimalleolar fracture 9 yrs back. Now after a small trauma i.e. stumble from 2 wheeler , a sharp Pointing and pricking pain in the malleolus bone. Firstly it was like sprain, movement was restricted and limping. Now after one week, limping and movement improved. Only pain is there. My ankle is swollen since last fracture. But bone was healed. Please suggest.

I would like to know what implant was put for the fracture as in trimalleolar fracture we put a wire with twist at the end which may be the cause of pain due to the pointed end impinging
So kindly look up in your file what implant was put and get an xray done so that you can know by surity what's causing the pain
