Pain in Liver
Hello Doctors. I have Gilberts Syndrome since 1 year. I am getting pain in liver not so harsh in frequent intervals. Also i drink lots of water and eat food on time. And the reports like Bilrubin and Xray are normal. What can be the cause behind the pain?

Gilbert syndrome usually has nothing to do with pain in that region. The pain that you're having may be simple gastritis. Take oral ppi, like pantoprazole. Avoid oily/fried/heavy meals. Avoid alhol, pain killers and over the vounter/herbal tablets altogether.  Uou will be fine soon.

Hi... Food u take may be the reason sometimes.... Most animal products (meat, eggs, dairy) should be eaten sparingly, as should aged or fermented products such as bread, beer, cheese, wine, cured meats, and tobacco. Aspirin should be avoided altogether. Including plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables will help during this period of healing and repair....
