I've been expericinh intense pain on my left thigh after working out a few times. It was just like normal muscle sore before so I worked out once more after, but for the past three or four days it became difficult to move around my leg. It's especially bad when I sit down. Will this pass in a few days or could there be a more serious problem?

Your quadriceps muscle must be sore. Do the quad stretch and you will feel more relaxed. It's normal to feel so after workout.
You can consult me online and I can send you the pictures of stretches that you can do pre and post workout to minimise such soreness after work outs
