The index finger has turned pale yellow and is always cold as compared to other fingers of the right hand. She is unable to make use of that finger in any kind of work as it pains in the finger and the palm area near the thumb. The top of the finger is insensitive to anything. Can you suggest me what should I do for this.

Hello there...I can understand your concern. if this is acute in onset, then she need to consult a vascular surgeon immediately. she could be developing a gangrene. if chronic in onset then it could be due to recuurent paronychia, mild vascular abnormalities. so kindly consult a vascular surgeon or general surgeon for further evaluation.
