Pain during sex

I am not able to have sex with my husband. Every time we try, it hurts me a lot and seeing this my husband stops and never forces. It breaks my self confidence and my heart. I am not sure if this is due to psychological fear or some health issue. I am married for 5 months now and I am looking to get this resolved so that I can consummate my marriage
