Pain behind ear

Asked for Male, 24 Years

From yesterday i am having a pain in back of the ear i.e pain in bone behind the both ears. The pain is sometime throbbing and sometime dull. Some neck stiffness also felt. Applied moov gel and some hot packs also, after applyying they i only feel temporary relief. Then again pain starts. Is this issue a serious condition?.

As a eNT surgeon I can guide you through this that u might have mastoiditis is there any redness in the mastoid area, any history of ear discharge or heaviness in ear or any heaviness in head . Other reason r cervical sprain, Thorat infection leading to localised lymphadenopathy and pain. Kindly share a picture of mastoid area along with complete history acute mastoiditis is not a good thing
