For over the past 6-8 months, my eyes have become intolerant towards artificial light. The light from street lights, led bulbs in our home, the mobile screen, laptop screen, and even the reflection of light from the walls of our home(which happens to be of blue colour) create an immediate stress in my eyes and the region around it. I have been neglecting it for a while but now the situation has worsened. Now the pain remains for 1 hour even when I have moved to a darker room.My job demands me to work for hours in front of the laptop(my laptops screen is glare free). The uneasy feeling is best described as an immediate stress around my eyes from the exposure (which lasts for 5 minutes) and then an headache in the forehead region which lasts for an hour even though i have moved in to a dark room. Darker rooms provide relief. Kindly guide me. I dont wanna lose my eyesight. And are there any such glasses which provide blue light filter + power correction ?

All software professionals are having same problems because most of them don't know how to work on computer for long time without giving discomfort to eyes. While working on computer number of blinking drastically goes down from around 24 per minute to around 8 per minute leading to severe dryness causing burning ,eyestrain, temporary blurring of vision,& headache. One should try to have normal blinking while working on computer ,should look away from screen after every 10 minute& should take rest for 10 minutes after every two hours. You should also use lubricating eye drops( Systane ultra) 5-6 times daily & genteal gel once at bed time. You should consult ophthmologist for refraction & if prescribed glass ,you should use antiglare glass or you may use plane antiglare glass if there is no refractive error.
