Hi there, A detailed medical and psychiatric history is always needed for every patient. In addition, a detailed mental status examination is also recommended for every case to come for a diagnosis and its management accordingly. It’s not clear from your description what we’re the symptoms you were having when the diagnosis was made.Who made the diagnosis? Were there any interpersonal, social , mood related or sexual problems were encountered? Who advised for the treatment with the “ Oxytocin “?
Next Steps
If the details were taken into account by a psychiatrist, then a psychiatrist is the best for the therapy. A team of Endocrinologist, Psychologist and Psychiatrist is also an option depending on the symptoms.
