Ovarian cyst
I have UTI and i went through various tests... its observed that i have an ovarian cyst and is of size 42*40 mm.....Does ovarian cyst of size 42 mm * 40 mm requires surgery?? Kindly suggest.. looking for second opinion. Thank you in advance!

Only require good follow up by a gynaecologist,
Can be easily followed up by regular ultrasonography at fortnightly or monthly interval
It may subside with time.
Only larger cysts which do not resolve with time requires surgical correction
Treatment of infection (UTI) should be done adequately
