Can the injection Synvisc-One
provide temporary relief in case of osteoarthritis? Doctor has prescribed knee replacement but till we are prepared for it can the injection work?

Be wise as it is a costly injection.
There are other injectable options available for high grades of knee osteoarthritis.

Yes. But it also depends on the severity of ur knee osteoarthritis. Usually this injevtion gives relief from 6 months to upto 2 years. If it is too bad then expect around 6 months otherwise 2 years bit up and down. But better go for replacement as it will improve her quality of life with respect to pain and mobility

It works only in early arthritis
If your doctor has advised surgery then u must be having advanced arthritis and in that case synvisc will not help you much.
It all be waste of money. Share your x-ray for more discussion
