My lower jaw is little bit smaller in size. And there is mismatch between upper and lower jaw. Couple of years ago I had braces and doctors suggested Surgery to fix alignment of jaws. How can I fix this problem?? If I stretch lower jaw outward it looks little bit good but can't do it all-time. Prefer me non surgerical options.

Hi... you have rightly pointed out that your jaw looks good when you get it forward. That's the exact mechanism which helps you to promote jaw growth in early growing age.I think you can go for myofunctional or functional appliances..it can help you. Please do not delay...as you are already little late for such treatment.

The growth of the jaw could have been redirected using myofunctional appliances at a younger age. But it is too late now for that. Consult an orthodontist with your X-rays to explore any other options. But may be difficult without surgery as braces can only change tooth position
