Orbital Cellulitis
A question for doctors:
Can orbital cellulitis be caused from dirty water? My son recently had Orbital Cellulitis and responded to Iv antibiotics.
He had congestion around ethnoid sinus, Maxillary sinus and sphenoid sinus.
It started with fever.
Prior to that he had some eye discharges only in the morning. Pediatrician diagnosed as Conjuctivitis.
The thing is from conjunctivitis to fever, I don't remember him having cold or runny nose.
He had cold atleast 1.5 months prior to these episodes. And it seemed to have resolved as he did not have any symptoms.
Just 2 days before the fever episodes, We had gone to Lonavala from Mumbai and had used an open jacuzzi. The water did not seem very clean.
