Oral thrush in infant
My 4 month old baby girl is suffering from oral thrush.. Applying gentian violet from past 3 weeks... But still the white patches are present on her tongue. How long the gentian violet is safe to use?? And how many times a day it has to be applied..? Kindly someone help pleaseee...

Gentian violet, a purple dye available over-the-counter, has anti-fungal qualities that make it useful in the treatment of yeast infections...long term usage is not advisable, consult your doctor to know the cause for immune depression. If you have infection stop breastfeeding and see doctor..
