This needs to be differentiated from Milk Tongue in which coating of tongue can be removed easily and underlying tongue surface healthy. Thrush needs treatment. Your baby recently received any antibiotics? Is this first time he got it?

you have to attend a paediatrician .
Both should be treated simultaneously &further maintain hygiene while breastfeeding .
