Oral contraception pill
Hello, I don't have any allergies or previously diagnosed health problems but wish to start daily contraception pills for self assurance . My periods is regular and almost on time, my next date is on this 18th and goes for about 5-6 days ,just the first 2 days i get cramps and rest days are good with normal flow as for last 5-6 months. Please recommend me some of the pills available in indian market which could be suitable and could be used for long term without much harm. Will my period cycle be affected anyhow after using ocp or cause any other changes in my body???

If slight weight gain is not an issue then subdermal implants like norplant-ii would be one of the best choice Other option is Depot medroxy progesterone 3monthly injections These hav good results and compliance If u just want oral pills then MALA-D would suffice just u have to make sure that u won't miss a dose
Next Steps
Contraception advice has wide range of choices, one choice suits one and other to someone else So i would advice to get a consult, that doctor collects necessary info from u and suggest suitable method for you
