Do you have any habits.? A healing skin of mouth(mucosa) has salty taste. Don't worry it shouldn't be a cancer but clinical picture will give better idea get a checkup done and get your sharp tooth smoothed by a dentist so that u don't bite your internal skin by teeth.

We cannot label it as oral cancer just by the symptoms that you have described.... a detailed clinical examination by a dentist will help you understand the problem better and the right treatment can be instituted only after that.... we would be requiring more clinical details like the duration of this problem, any oral habits like tobacco chewing or smoking that you have and the state of your general physical health.... the slightly salty taste that you are experiencing can be due to a minor healing wound in the oral cavity also.... Regards....
