Optic nerve
Dear Dr. Approximately 6 months back my father had meet with an road accident while riding on bike and brain injury was diagnosed & he was on ventilor for 10 days. After gaining consciousness he was not able to see properly but right now he can detect light but can't differentiate b/w colour. Please help me doctor.

From your description, it seems like serious injury to the optic nerve. Partial recovery is sometimes possible, but generally, the visual outcome after such injuries is, unfortunately, very poor.
