Optic Nerve Damage
I consulted an eye doctor for checkup where I was told that my optic nerve of right eye is damaged at around 85% due to high pressure since the my right eye is weak and my left eye is fine . My question is a) does that effect my left eye? b) what are my options to prevent further damage ?

you didn't mention that whether the pressure of eye is increased or intracranial pressure.  but in both conditions you will have to remain vigilant about your healthy eye. get regular ophthalmic check up done.
