Asked for Female, 35 Years

Sir my mom is suffering from pain during her menstrual cycle since 3-4 years and now doctors have suggested surgery to remove her ovaries but I am very insecure about operation . Please guide me.

You need to discuss with your doctor whether there are any fibroids/ovarian cyst/Pelvic infection/Adenomyosis.The treatment suggested may be for a specific reason.If she has a family history of uterus,Breast or ovarian tumours and any positive finding on scan,the doctors would have suggested the surgery.If her flow is normal and regular periods,we can start medical line of management to treat period pain.Our mode of treatment depends on her age,symptoms and finding on scan.
