Oil Burn Scar on Face

Sir/Ma'am, I have a dark burn scar on my face from hot oil 5 years ago while I was practicing cooking. That time I did use some medicine to remove those scar, but when most of the scar vanished(but there was still some of it left), I discontinued applying medicine thinking that it would heal naturally now. But it didn't. Now I want to remove that scar. What should I do?
