Office Workloads
Few days back one of my senior left the job in out office, so i have to take his work also because no one can do or perform it. So i took the responsibility and performed in a good way, at the same time i feel confident but on the other side my boss is giving more and more work which i have perform, i can do that work also but i feel that in our office all the workloads are putted over me, i feel others having a low workload, why i am having such workloads. The employer is not increasing the salary because ofmy performance and i did not asked for a pay hike too. This kind of atmosphere in the office make me suffocated and i feel i have to leave the job, but to the current financial condition of mine, i am not able to leave the job. So i am very much frustrated with the work culture and the nature of the employer. Please suggest me a path for this issue.

Hi You are going through work stress and you feel your boss is putting a lot of pressure on you by giving you a lot of work. You are confident about your work but you are facing a lot of pressure because of the workload. To feel better consult a psychologist and explain about work stress. A psychologist will help you feel calm. It seems like you are feeling extremely anxious. I suggest consulting a psychologist for counselling sessions. You will feel better when you talk to a psychologist.

Hi.. First u need to appreciate yourself for the dedication and hard work you have put for your work. But there is a thin line to let other understand that they are taking advantage of you. So yes  , you have to be assertive and should have open communication with your boss. If it happens with you in most situations then u can talk to therapist to go for Assertive Training.

Hi... It's is hard to survive in a toxic work culture. This is a typical case where a hard-working employee is getting burdened with more work without any reward (pay hike or promotion) and others are having low workloads. What you can do here is either to start acquiring the behaviours of a typical employee of your organisation or to be a leader and try to change things in your own way. Also, do remember, workplace is not just about the work. We are human beings and we do judge others based on various other factors apart from work performance. Someone who is good with most employees will get promoted more easily. Someone in good books of the manager will get the pay hike. Someone with better self-projection skills may receive more appreciation for his/her work. Remember, EQ becomes way more important than IQ, especially where humans are assessing other human beings.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist. Career Counselling and Interpersonal Guidance is required.
